It features a cast iron grinding mechanism in an antique brushed copper housing. The grinding mechanism is sited at the base of the metal reservoir (not at the bottom of the piece) and sits atop a turned timber base made from Australian-sourced stormfall or salvaged timber. But dont let the apparent size fool you - you'll be surprised at how much you can fit into the reservoir! NB: Only for use with pepper or dry spice
