Shipping /Returns Policy

Shipping Policy

Despatch times differ between products – please see product pages for despatch times.

Domestic: Standard shipping rate is $14.90 AUSTRALIA WIDE via Australia Post (please allow 3-7 days for delivery after despatch; this may be longer in busy periods as we can't control the postal service!).

 

FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $85

Shipping Terms & Conditions:

1. While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered within estimated delivery times, we cannot guarantee your item(s) will be delivered within these timeframes. In busy periods, shipping times may take longer. 

2. We cannot be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

3. Delivery times do not include weekends or public holidays.

4. You must ensure that you have provided the correct address for delivery. Once your order is processed; we are unable to change the shipping address. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that this is correct. We are unable to give refunds if we are supplied with an incorrect address.

Return & Exchange Policy

Returns Process:

Please email us at jill@christiestraditions.com.au  if you would like to return an item, noting your reason for return in the email.

Please note: you are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the reason for return is due to a faulty/damaged product) and original shipping costs cannot be refunded. 

Also, if you are shipping items with a value of over $85, it is recommended that you use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We are unable to guarantee that we will receive your returned item and we do not accept any responsibility for lost items.


Refunds:

Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

On approval, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 days (dependant on your financial institution).

Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven't received your refund within 7 days of receiving your notification of refund:

1. Double check your bank account.


2. Contact your bank or credit card company, as it may take longer before the refund is processed by them and officially posted to your account or card

3. If you have done these steps and still have not received your refund, please email us at jill@christiestraditions.com.au

 

Faulty or Damaged Items:

If any items you receive are faulty or damaged, please emailjill@christiestraditions.com.au within 5 days of receipt of item to notify us. Please be sure to include your best contact details, details of the fault/damage and if possible a photo of the fault/damage.

After receiving your email, we will provide you with a return postage address so you can return the item to us.

Please note due to the limited amounts of timber varieties and the ‘one-off’ nature of many of our pieces, we cannot guarantee that we will have a duplicate item in stock. If that is in fact the case, we will contact you and work with you to find an alternative item or a full refund (including any original shipping costs).


Exchanges:

We are unfortunately unable to accept exchanges due to the individuality of our products.

Warranty/Guarantee:

We are unable to take responsibility for any injury or loss caused by the use or misuse of our products.
